Introduce: What are the wearing parts and consumables in the production line of papermaking equipment?
The production line of papermaking equipment has complex structure and harsh operating environment, and its wearing parts and consumables run through every link such as pulping, papermaking, coating and auxiliary. According to the papermaking process, common wearing parts and consumables mainly include the following categories:
1. Paper machine forming and dewatering system components
This is the core consumption area of paper machine, which directly bears the friction, dewatering pressure and chemical environment of pulp.
Paper machine fabrics: including blankets (usually replaced every 3-6 months, and high-speed and high-output machines may need to be replaced for 1-2 months) and forming screen/screen rollers (the service life of high-speed machines is usually 2-4 weeks, and that of low-speed machines can reach 8 weeks). They bear constant pressure, friction and high tension, and are extremely high-frequency consumables.
Press roller and scraper: Press cots, stone rollers, calendering rollers, etc. are worn by the continuous contact between the paper web and scraper, resulting in changes in the height of the roller surface, which need to be repaired or replaced regularly. In addition, the knife roller is used for cutting the paper web and trimming, and it usually needs to be replaced every 1-3 months due to continuous friction.
Dehydration components: The functions of wet-end water filtering and dehydration components (such as vacuum box panel, etc.) decrease after a certain period of use, and need to be cleaned or replaced regularly.
2. Pulping and grinding system components
This link is mainly responsible for fiber breaking, screening and beating, and the medium often contains hard impurities, which requires extremely high wear resistance of the equipment.
Grinding disc: As the core wearing parts of high-consistency or low-consistency disc refiner, the grinding disc is subjected to severe wear in the process of fiber mechanical modification and needs to be replaced regularly.
Pressure screen drum and rotor: used to remove fine particles and impurities from pulp. Rotor and screen drum have been scoured by slurry for a long time, so they need to be repaired or directly replaced by spraying wear-resistant layer (such as supersonic flame spraying and hard chromium plating).
Spare parts of pulper: such as rotor, blade, sieve plate and bottom knife of D-type hydraulic pulper, which are typical vulnerable parts, are subjected to strong hydraulic impact and shear friction when shredding waste paper and pulp board.
Slag remover component: used to separate heavy impurities, and its internal components will wear out in long-term operation.
3. Sizing and coating system components
Sizing metering rod (scraper): In the surface sizing process, high-speed running paper web, abrasive particles (such as fillers) in the sizing material and chemical corrosion can easily lead to wear, furrowing or deformation of the surface (especially the cutting edge) of the metering rod, thus affecting the sizing uniformity, so it needs to be inspected and replaced regularly.
4. Mechanical transmission and bearing parts
Bearings: Paper machines are mainly rotating rollers, including hundreds of bearings of various types. Due to the long-term influence of water, high temperature and heavy load, lubricating oil is easy to lose and age, resulting in bearing damage or shaft head wear. Generally, it needs to be replaced every 6-12 months and lubricated regularly.
Gears and transmission parts: used to transmit power, which are prone to fatigue damage and wear under high torque and continuous heavy load operation. The service life of gears is usually 1-2 years, which needs to be checked and replaced regularly.
5. Pumps and auxiliary system components
Spare parts for chemical pumps: various pumps (such as pulp pump, sizing gear pump, metering pump, anti-corrosion centrifugal pump, etc.) are widely used in papermaking process. When conveying media or corrosive chemicals containing fibers and particles, the impeller, lining and flow passage parts of the pump are prone to abrasion, so wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials should be selected and replaced regularly.
Other mechanical vulnerable parts, including the spring plate of the net case shaking, the suction cup of the electromagnetic clutch, the overload prevention pin of the coupling, etc., are prone to fatigue damage under heavy load due to the restriction of mechanical structure and operation principle.
The replacement frequency of these wearing parts and consumables is influenced by many factors, such as the output (speed) of paper machine, the quality of raw materials (impurity content) and the operating environment (temperature and humidity, chemicals). Scientific management of the replacement cycle of these consumables is very important for reducing unplanned downtime and ensuring paper quality.
